Bible Reading: Isaiah 28:1-end
“Because ye have said, we have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves” – Isaiah 28:15 (KJV).
The above scriptural quote represents one of the greatest lie that is conceived among men. The issue of life and death is a certainty that cannot be avoided or stopped. Many occult and satanic persons have been deceived into believing that they can acquire the power to live without dying, which has led to their indulging in endless and fruitless adventure in search of power for endless life. Many people have been deceived into believing that there are charms and rings that can enable them to live without dying. This is a lie from the pit of hell. Death is an inevitable and irreversible appointment everyman must keep one day, so instead of undertaking a fruitless search to escape it, one is better advised to search out what lies beyond the grave. “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement” – Hebrews 9:27 (KJV).
God has so many instruments in His armoury. One of such is the ‘overflowing flood’. This is what is also referred to in Nahum 1:8 (KJV) as the ‘overrunning flood’. “But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.” This was the instrument God promised to use in destroying the crown of pride, the drunkard of Ephraim as represented in all societies by devilish men who thrive in devious and unholy activities. “Behold, the LORD hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand” – Isaiah 28:2 (KJV) These are men who operate in different cults in the cover of the night. Men of evil disposition whose activities in the land shrouded in the mystery of their occult practice. They serve Bacchus and other shade of demon gods who deceive them into believing that as they offer human sacrifices they will be shielded from death. They are the Luciferians who have been deceived by Satan on their indestructibility. This was what they meant by, “when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves” – Isaiah 28:15b(KJV). The Almighty God promises to render judgement against these evil men and disannul their evil deceptive covenant with death. “And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it” – Isaiah 28:18 (KJV). Many men had lived in this illusion and died when their appointed time came up. They were deceived by the devil to believe they can achieve immortality, hence in their life time they did not seek after God, who is the creator and giver of life.
