It’s not by power, (2ce) it’s not by might (2ce), by my spirit says The Lord. This mountain has been removed…. This is a well known Christian song taken from the book of Zechariah 4:6. There are times when there are challenges of life and it appears that God has abandoned us.
This is similar to what happened to the three kings of Israel, Judah and Edom in 2 Kings 3 that went out to fight king of Moab and after seven days journey, they were all very thirsty including their livestock and there was no river in sight. The King of Israel concluded that God wanted to hand them over to their enemy! But God had a miracle in store for them. He said in 2 Kings 3:17 KJV. “For thus saith the Lord , Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts”. And this happened such that the strength of the kings were restored and they won the war!
This is the situation of a number of people that are going through some challenges. The Lord has miracles in store for them only if they could take time to seek the face of God and not assume that God wants a terrible end for them. If you are a reader of this devotional and currently undergoing challenging situations now, please take time out and seek the face of God as the three kings did. The only difference is that you can ask God yourself by setting some time apart and worshipping him and praying to him and wait for him to speak to you. You shall testify in Jesus name.
Prayer: Father, please give me breakthrough in my current situation and take me to a higher level in this month in Jesus name.
