…Spreading the gospel of Christ

Bible Reading: Genesis 37.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” – Jeremiah  29:11 (KJV)
When God wants to do great things in the life of a man, He starts by showing him a picture of the future. That was the case of Joseph. God showed him the picture of his  future in a dream.
Jacob, now Isreal, had 11 sons, Rachel was the very wife Isreal loved and she had given birth to only one son at that time, Joseph. Jacob’s obvious favoritism, was  displayed by giving Joseph the coat of many colours. Joseph didn’t help the situation, as he shared his dreams of being superior to his brothers. In one dream the 11 brothers bowed down to him. In another dream, the entire family bowed down to him. This  emanated envy  and hatred from his brothers towards him.
Nevertheless, God had a plan for Joseph’s life. God gave him a couple of  dreams that helped Joseph to realise that he planned to one day make him a great man. Joseph had no clue, however, of what the dream was exactly and how God will bring it to pass, but he was so excited and narrated the dreams to his father and brothers. Consequently, They threw him in  a pit.
There is a point in everyone’s walk with God where you just feel like giving up, you feel like its just too much for what you can handle  and you have had enough of it. Times when you say;  I will never be promoted, there is  no way I can pay those bills, I will never come out of these! These are times it seems like God does not make sense. How could he take you to all these pains and troubles before bringing you to your greatness?
I have good news for you, readers! When it seems God does not make sense, He is up to something great for your life. DON’T GIVE UP HOPE, DON’T GIVE UP ON GOD! I am sure that was the situation of Joseph in that pit, I can imagine him thinking how this can be happening to him, his own family turning against him. He may have even doubted God from bringing him out of that pit,  but he held on to the dream. For at that appointed time it shall speak.
Joseph emerged a blessing in the land of captivity. From the pit he went to Potiphar’s house. From Potiphar’s house he went to the prison. From the prison he went to the palace. That will be your story from now on. God is taking you to the next level of greatness.
The blessing of the father had prevailed on Joseph. No one can prevail without the blessing. The blessing was upon his head and that made him indestructible. The blessing was his preservation. The same was the blessing that caused his father to prevail. I pray that God is bringing you out from every ugly situation and circumstances. You will come out best, YOU WILL SURELY LAUGH AT LAST.
PRAYER:
Father help me not to give up nor compromise my trust in you.
