Bible Reading: Psalm 139:1- 24
“For there is not a word in my tongue, but , lo, O Lord , thou knowest it altogether.” Psalm 139:4 KJV
Have you ever given a child a gift and thereafter asked him for part of the gift only for him to hide it because he didn’t want to part with it? You’ll then be wandering why on earth would he think you won’t know he was keeping it? Interestingly, that is how some people behave. They forgot that God created every part of their body including their brain and can see everything that they do. That’s why David stated in Psalm 139:4 KJV “For there is not a word in my tongue, but , lo, O Lord , thou knowest it altogether.”
Everything you say and what you plan to say are known to him. God says in Isaiah 65:24 (KJV): “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” He knows everything you say or do. You cannot hide any form of sin from him even when no one can see you. God can see everything. That is the more reason you should live a life of holiness at all times.
The same way he knows all your challenges and he expects you to take it to him in prayer recognizing that nothing is impossible with him. This is why he says in Matthew 7:7 (KJV): “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” So he knows the pains, the aches and sorrow you may be going through. He knows the sickness and disease giving you sleepless nights and he is willing to change your story if only you will call on him. Because he wants you to prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. Every sickness or disease in your body is healed today in Jesus name. Your sorrow will turn to unspeakable joy today and all your emotional trauma is turning to peace this day in Jesus name. Every diseased growth in your body is drying up now in Jesus name.
Just recognise Jesus as omni-scient who knows all things and wants the best for you at all times provided you are ready to surrender all to him.
Prayer: God Almighty, you know all things, so I surrender my life to you and ask that you fill me with peace all around from this moment in Jesus name.
