…Spreading the gospel of Christ

WORD MEDITATION: 15/11/2016

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand”- Ephesians 6:13 (KJV).

There are days that could be described as bad or evil days, not because such day will eventually turn out to be evil, but because the devil comes with such intents to spoil the day. All days are not the same. Everyday come with its challenges, trials, crisis, blessing and issues. What we make out of each day is dependent on our ability or capacity to manage the challenges of the day.

Everyone has his good days and bad days, but while some are able to turn their bad days into blessings and testimonies others fall victim of the wicked devices of the devil by allowing the weapons fashioned against them to prosper. Understand that it is your responsibility to determine the outcome of each day. Don’t allow the devil to decide for you or to spoil the day for you.

Job had his good and bad days. In his good days he enjoyed the love, joy, peace, health and the prosperity of life. He had a happy family, full of joy and blessings. The bad day threatened to drown the joy, wealth, peace and happiness of the good days. Job was confronted with calamity that instead of blessing his day to reverse the plans and attack of Satan, “…he opened his mouth, and cursed his day” – Job 3:1 (KJV). The devil so marred the day that Job almost lost all hope of redemption and restoration.

To successfully manage our day, we must develop the right attitude:
1. A winning attitude
2. An enduring hope
3. Unwavering faith
4. Eternal/spiritual perspective
5. Divine wisdom
6. Self control or temperance
7. Harnessed tongue for prophetic declaration
8. Positive attitude
9. Renewed mind
10. A fighting spirit

Never let the devil mar your day. Let God make it.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to make everyday work for my good.
