Topic: GOD’S PLAN FOR MAN HAS NOT CHANGED
Bible Reading: Genesis 41, Matthew 13
“And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do” Genesis 41:25 (KJV)
The ability to tell the events of the future in the present is one characteristic that makes God above all. He knows the end from the beginning and knows the outcome of what our lives will be. This is not surprising because He created the world in the first place. His desire for man to dominate the world and handle his affairs has not changed.
This ability to foretell future events has been given to man as a gift from God. But He gives this ability to particular persons so that people, especially those who have never heard about Him and those who doubt Him will believe in Him. Joseph was one person who can see and interprete the events of the future. When God showed Pharaoh two different dreams but with same meaning, many people were called to interprete the dream but they could not.
But God gave the interpretation to Joseph not only because He wants to lift Joseph from the low state he found himself but because His desire to preserve the world has not changed since the time of Noah. And every time He wants to save humanity from destruction He always looks for a man; one who has something that He can work with.
God cares about your family, company, businesses, career, etc and wants to reveal the events of the future to you so that you can be properly positioned to withstand whatever shock may come your way. But first you must allow His Spirit to enlighten you like He did Joseph. In Genesis 41:38 (KJV), “… Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?”
Without the Spirit of God enlightening our spirit we won’t know what to do. His Spirit is now available through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. If you are yet to submit yourself to God, please do so today and let the Holy Spirit come upon you.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your Spirit upon me leading me to victory in the battles of life
