TOPIC: THE FAVOUR OF GOD
“And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.” – Deuteronomy 33:23 (KJV)
The favour of God is an advantage that makes the difference in life! When a person is favoured of God, it goes beyond everyone smiling at you and being nice to you. The favour of God is a supernatural force that shields you from harm, exempts you from judgment and it is a compelling force that compels people towards you to fulfill God’s Word and plan in your life.
The limits of the border of a person’s life is determined by the measure of favour that the person walk in. According to our text, you can’t possess your God-given territory without the favour of God. Naphtali was born out of a fight and a struggle and maybe that defines you (Genesis 30:8). Maybe everything you have ever achieved in your life has been from one fight or the other, in Christ Jesus that has changed. God has welcomed you to a new season of accomplishments through the operation of His supernatural working in your life.
God’s favour is what will make that arrogant and wicked boss make decisions originally designed to take you down to lift you up to prominence. Haman out of hatred for God’s people schemed his way through the corridors of power to kill Mordecai and annihilate the Jews but Mordecai was favoured. The same gallows set up for Mordecai was where Haman ended up while Mordecai rose to prominence in the land “So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai…” – Esther 7:10.
It is time to begin to take possession of your God given territory today because there is no way as a child of God you can be disadvantaged in life. You’re already standing in God’s favour because of Jesus’s blood.
