TOPIC: THE POWER OF THE LIVING WORD OF GOD
Bible Reading: Numbers 1-2; Mark 3:1-21
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
The Word of God is quick and powerful and when you fill your spirit with the Word of God; it will have a great impact on your soul and body. You would begin to manifest the God kind of life.
When the pressures of life come, when you find yourself in a difficult situation or challenges of life, it is the Word of God in you that will come forth to address the issue. And God’s Word is God’s creative material; it will produce what it talks about or says.
1 Timothy 4:15 says, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” Talking about the living Word of God. Also, Joshua 1:8 (KJV) says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Instead of worrying about life’s issues or your health and trying to figure out every little sensation in your body; meditate on the living Word of God. The Word will keep you in health and safety. When you face difficulties, respond with the Word. God’s Word holds the power to change circumstances and bring solution to every situation in life. Let God’s Word dwell in you.
PRAYER: Father, thank you for the power of your living Word that abides in me.
