Bible Reading: Isaiah 56, 57 & 58; 2 Thessalonians 2
“The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved” – 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 (NIV).
From the very beginning of creation, the central issue in humanity’s relationship with God has been the choice to either reject God and the truth of His Word or to love and obey Him. That choice and response will continue to be pivotal in the last days of his age. Salvation and personal relationship with God will be experienced by those who surrender their lives to Christ and wholeheartedly love the truth. Such people take God at His Word and are fully convinced of the integrity of what He has said. As a result, they reject all revelation or teaching that conflict with that truth.
In order to present people with the opportunity to accept the truth of Christ for themselves, we must be bold enough to speak his message and invite people to yield their lives to Christ.
