…Spreading the gospel of Christ

Bible Reading: Isaiah 3:1-26

“Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings” – Isaiah 3:10 (KJV).

Righteousness may be ridiculed and rejected and the righteous man goes through attacks and diverse persecutions and trials but ultimately, the gain of righteousness far surpasses the pains. Righteousness may not exempt one from the challenges of life but it prepares and equips one to handle and overcome life’s challenges.

The case of the righteous is always different even if he goes through the same challenges with the unrighteous. The relationship and intimate communion with God gives strength to the righteous while going through tough times. The righteous enjoys divine presence, the help and comfort of the Holy Spirit. For the righteous, hope is kept alive, by the promises of the scriptures and fellowship of the brethren. The righteous has hope in this life and in the life to come, eternal life. He is not alone in times of trails, through the dark moments or seasons of life, the light of God shines on his path to give the righteous illumination and clear direction. For the righteous, God will surely make a way of escape through the wilderness. His faith, love and hope keep him going in the tough times.

The righteous engages his faith in difficult times and enters the rest promised and provided in Christ. Rest from sin, worries, cares, fears and anxiety are the heritage of the righteous. “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ-Jesus” – Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV).

PRAYER: I declare in the name of Jesus, it shall be well with me.
