“After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.” – John 7:1 KJV
If people sought to kill Jesus who had no sin and was always there to help others, can you imagine what people will do to those of us who were born in Sin!
John 7:1(KJV) “After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him”. One advantage here is that Jesus knew the plans of the Jews and was therefore able to avoid them. Also in the previous chapter of John 6:71(KJV) “He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve”. Jesus spoke of the one that would betray him in future. How did he know? Through revelation. The bible is replete with various situations when people were thinking of things while Jesus was speaking and he would give them answers or response to their thought. How did he know? Through revelations.
The word of God says in John 14:12(KJV) “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father”.
So we Christians should be able to know things that will happen to us in future by seeking Gods face. God revealed dreams of another man to Daniel (Daniel 2:19) when he asked him. The bible says in Jeremiah 33:3(KJV) “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”.
So God expects us to fellowship with him regularly and He will show us great and mighty things that we do not know.
Imagine if we know a lot of things that will happen to us, we will surely live a better life which is what God wants for us.
So brethren let’s praise and worship our God regularly and also be attentive to the Holy Spirit; as we do so, surely he will make many things known to us and we will live a better life.
Prayer: Father, give me the grace to fellowship with you regularly and as I do so, please give revelations to me.
