Bible Reading: Exodus 1,2,3; Matthew 14:1-18
“And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;” – Genesis 15:13 (KJV)
The bible is full of prophecies; the prophetic is a proof that God in heaven sees, knows and is concerned about the future of man on earth. Prophesies fulfilled increases people’s faith in God.
God promised Abraham in Genesis chapter 15 that his seed will be uncountable. From Jacob alone, Seventy people entered into Egypt. Now the number has grown as the children of Israel multiplied greatly (Exodus 1:7).
He also told Abraham that his seed will be afflicted and be made slaves. Again this came to pass as the new king did not know Joseph and so dealt cruelly with the Isaraelites. God said He will visit and take them out of that land.
So many prophesies have gone forth this year 2020, how many are you holding on to? God speaks through the mouth of His prophets and brings them to pass. He has not changed. But you need to cry out to Him and be watchful for the fulfilment of these prophesies.
Action Plan: Make a list of the prophesies that have gone forth this year in line with your desire and with relevant scriptural backing, begin to give God glory till they come to pass.
