TOPIC: A PROPHET TO THE NATION
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)
Whatever your nationality, you must realize that it is not a mistake you belong to that country, race, tribe, or family. Where you dwell and the time or dispensation that you are born into is not a mistake. Acts 17:26 says, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;”
If Jeremiah – a prophet under the Old Covenant shaped the destiny of Israel and the entire Middle East, then we can also shape things in our towns and cities by taking a stand. Never allow the devil to make you feel your words can’t change your country because they can.
God has ordained you a prophet to your community and you can put His Word in your mouth and shape the destiny of your land through prayer and prophetic utterances. The basis of Jeremiah’s authority is the same as ours today. The same way God put His Words in Jeremiah’s mouth is the same way you are expected to put His Words in your mouth and prophetically declare it because the same effect the Word has in God’s mouth is the same effect that it has in your mouth as a believer when it is spoken in faith. He told Jeremiah, “…BEHOLD, I HAVE PUT MY WORDS IN THY MOUTH. SEE, I have this day SET THEE OVER THE NATIONS…” Jeremiah 1:9(KJV).
Begin to speak in faith and root out crime, witchcraft, prostitution, and injustice! Begin to plant peace, favor, tranquility, justice, and life on your land because while you are waiting for God to pull down and plant things, He has already ordained you and given you the authority as a prophet to cause that needed change.
DECLARE: I speak peace to our borders, justice, and prosperity to our land and nations in the Name of Jesus.
