Bible Reading: Joshua 10,11,12 : Luke 1:41-60
”And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord” Luke 1:45(KJV)
The people of the world see before they believe but the way of the Almighty is believe and then see. When we believe prophecy they are not physically manifested but they are substantiated by our faith. When God said let there be light, it was a declaration that resulted in manifestation. This is why the bible defined faith in this manner, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1 (KJV).
Before Jesus called Lazarus out of the grave He believed Lazarus will come out alive, that was why on two occasion He made mention of His undoubtable faith in God In John 11:11 (KJV), “These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may wake him out of sleep.” When Christ came to the tomb of Lazarus He gave thanks to God who hears Him always, “ … And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me, And I knew that thou hearest me always:” John 11:41b-42a (KJV). Christ believed in His eternal relationship with the father and demonstrated it by giving thanks. He believed it and called Lazarus back to life. The human believe system is contrary to God’s way, hence there are so much limitation. Faith cannot be limited when it is anchored on God and His word. Whosoever, therefore, that believe in the word of God is blessed.
Faith is manifesting the divine nature through aligning with God by His word. The word of God is eternal and living, when believed in and declared with faith produces result. The word sent from God to Mary by angel Michael took bodily form inside Mary and when Mary greeted Elizabeth the Spirit of God Almighty moved into operation and Elizabeth began to prophesy. Those things which were told Mary is the word sent from God to her, believing it brought about their performance. Our Christian race is a race of faith, hence, we must of a necessity develop it as our lifestyle. We must be consistent in appropriating and declaring the exceeding great and precious promises in His word because it is by these that we are made to be partakers of His divine nature. What you believe and declare is what you manifest and that is what rules your life.
When we operate in faith we please God and when we please Him we experience His glory. “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6 (KJV). Until we believe we cannot see the manifestation, therefore it is expedient that we discard our human believe system to live in the believe system of Christ. It is only by the heavenly believe system that we can overcome the world. “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is our victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” 1 John 5:4 (KJV)
Power to overcome the world and its inherent wickedness is in Christ Jesus. The sin of all humanity, past, present and future has been paid for at the cross, all you are required to do is to confess them, repent from them and accept Christ into your life. The acceptance of Christ into your life is your guarantee for victory, so make hay while the sun shines.
