Bible reading: Exodus 1-3; Matthew 15:22-39
Memory verse: “And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them” Matthew 15:30 (KJV)
Sicknesses and diseases were never in the picture when God created man, and are still not in His plan for man. Sin brought sicknesses, diseases and death. But God is ever working just as His Son, Jesus said, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work (John 5:17). God is working daily together with His Son to restore man to his rightful position on earth.
No manufacturer would be proud to see his product malfactioning in the market place or in the place of use. The same way, God is not happy seeing man live below his preordained status here on earth. No wonder Jesus took it personally upon Himself when He was on earth to deal with issues of sickness and diseases as foretold by Isaiah and quoted in Matthew 8:17 (KJV), “Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.”
God is not please to see anyone sick. No wonder He works with His Son to heal all who came to Him. Matthew 15:30 (KJV) says, “And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them.” Jesus is more than willing to heal you; He wants you whole and in health! He never left any unattended to who was sick. He healed them all.
Healthy and healthy living is God’s original plan for man and this has not changed. No matter the problem or challenge anyone is going through today healthwise, remember God is still working, and so is Jesus to bring you back to your true state. That’s why Jesus died to bury sin and sickness and was raised up to justify our new position in health and life. All you have to do is believe He died, was buried and raised up to give you newness of life and watch and see it manifest in your life.
Prayer: Father I thank You for healing me of every sickness, disease and pains.
