Topic: Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord.
Bible Reading: Habakkuk 1-3; ; Revelation 14.
Memory Verse: “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Habakkuk 3:18 (KJV).
The world is full of challenges; as you are coming out of one, another is stepping in. They are all meant to strengthen us as children of God. Psalm 34:19 (KJV) says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” So God knows that you will face many tribulations and He is prepared to deliver you from them all. He expects you to present all your challenges to Him and have faith in His ability to save you from them all. Thats why He says in Psalm 34:17 (KJV), “The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.”
Thus, when you are faced with any challenge, you are expected to hand everything to God and rejoice in Him because your joy will open doors unto you and what appeared so difficult will suddenly present various ways out. That is why the Bible says in Isaiah 12:3 (KJV), “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”
Whenever any challenge presents itself to you, examine what you may be doing wrongly and correct them and simultaneously present it to God with Thanksgiving knowing that such challenge will open doors to greater heights for you. This is why Romans 5:3-5 (KJV) says, “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; [4] And patience, experience; and experience, hope: [5] And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” So let the love of God fill you and direct you in everything that you do knowing that all things will work together for good for you. That is why you are expected to rejoice in the Lord always inspite of the challenges that you are facing. When challenges come in their numbers, and you choose to praise God, you are telling God by that act that He is bigger than all your challenges and you will seek Him first in all circumstances. This is why Habakkuk 3:18 (KJV) says, “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” even in the face of all tribulations and certainly God will show up for you just as He did when Paul and Silas praised Him while they were in prison!
Action point: Praise God with all your heart and thereafter present to Him any challenge currently facing you.
