Bible Reading: Psalm 93
“The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty:” – Psalm 93:1a(KJV)
Our God reigns in great majesty. The dictionary defines majesty as great dignity of bearin; loftiness; grandeur. It is defined as supreme power or authority. God is the Supreme authority that possesses the ownership of all powers.
Our God dwells in great magnificence or splendor as the King of kings. The scripture says He is clothed with majesty. Great is our God and greatly exalted. He is high and lifted up and His glory filled the temple. The splendor and grandeur of the greatest king on earth will fade away like a polluted and rotten sepuchre when seen against the splendor and glory of the exalted throne of our God. The bible says “Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.” Psalm 96:6(KJV). Our God is clothed with honour and majesty, “Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty” – Psalm 104:1(KJV). Our God is a great king that exercises supreme authority over the affairs of man. God is exalted above the heavens and seated on the majesty on High but His kingdom rules over all “The LORD hath prepared his throne in heavens; and His kingdom ruleth over all” Psalm 103:19(KJV). Let us exalt our God for He is glorious that reigneth forever. Of His kingdom there shall be no end for it is established and will be for everlasting.
Through the death of Jesus Christ, I have been redeemed and made an heir of this kingdom. I am ordained for royalty and a son of the most high God. I am a royal priesthood. “And hath made us unto our God, kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth” – Revelation 5:10(KJV). This is our heritage as children of the Most High God. This scriptural passage is not written for fun but remain an eternal truth that must appropriated. This is the gift of God through Christ Jesus. I therefore beseech you my dear reader to come to Christ and be part of the glorious royalty.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the package of redemption that decked me with royalty.
