Bible Reading: Psalm 94
“O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth, O God to whom vengeance belongeth, show thyself” – Psalm 94:1(KJV).
Vengeance belongs to God. We are the apple of God’s eye, whosoever desires to hurt us becomes a recipient of His vengeance. God’s vengeance answered on behalf of Israel in the Land of Egypt and the Egyptians set Israel free in a haste. Egypt came into confrontation with the God of vengeance and was humbled. The arrogant and pompous Pharaoh witnessed divine retribution and bowed. Until vengeance came Israel remained in bondage. Today the God of vengeance will move against your enemies in order to guarantee your complete liberty. God uses vengeance to liberate those that the wicked one holds in captivity. When the vengeance of God arose for His people even the gods of Egypt were judged. Every evil deity working against your destiny will from today witness God’s vengeance, in Jesus name. Hear what our heavenly father said in Deuteronomy 32:35(KJV) “To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that come upon them make haste”
God avenges others. Avenging people is one of many ways of divine intervention among men. “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you” – 2 Thessalonian 1:6(KJV). Our God will always show himself on behalf of His children against their enemies. It is the vengeance of God that brings complete victory in our lives. The day of divine vengeance against the arrogant and boastful enemy is in God’s heart for He said in Isaiah 63:4(KJV) “For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come”.
My dear reader, please note among the numerous vengeance acts of God, one is prominent which is refered to in Isaiah 61:2(KJV) as “The day of vengeance of our God” This is the period of divine retribution against all men who rejected the love of God extended to man. The bible said whosoever believeth shall be saved, but those that believes not are condemn already. You are under divine protective cover during this period of retribution. You need such cover that only Christ provides. Please make effort to make peace with God all for your good.
