Bible Reading: Isaiah 41:1-29
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” – Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
A little boy had sweated a lot trying to shift a heavy stone out of the bicycle path within his family yard, but did not succeed. He tried every means and every available equipment to no avail. The dad stood by watching and after several hours, asked his son if he had tried all he could. The little boy answered “Yes dad, I have, but the stone refused to shift, let alone move.” With a smile, the dad told his son the one thing he had not done — ‘ask his dad for help’! In a few minutes, the stone was moved.
If we trust God and will wait for Him to intervene, He will surely show up. Don’t allow the passage of time put fear in you, neither the circumstances around you. You may not feel it, sense it or know it in any specific way, but God is with you. He will help you. He already has His good hand upon you. Hallelujah!
Prayer: I am grateful Lord for your presence with me and believe that you will make your word in me manifest today. Amen.
