Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them. – Exodus 6:1-3
JEHOVAH is the redemptive name which Israel had to know by experience. God is always revealing himself little by little. He is a mystery that cannot be unfolded fully until we meet him in the great by and by. Our present mortal state cannot comprehend him in full. Here he was to redeem Israel from Egypt’s tyranny with a mighty power of Judgment that cuts across both physical and spiritual realm. Pharaoh, his magicians and their gods were to face His wrath as never before. He wanted to show and prove to all that He is LORD over all.
We are to seek to know more of him each day than the previous day. The more we know him the more we experience his redeeming power from the hand of our enemies.
Prayer: I decree the power of God over your life to free you and your family from every satanic bondage in Jesus name. Amen
