“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” Ephesians 3:20 (KJV).
The grace of God in the life of the believer is an inner strength that enables the believer to do what he cannot do ordinarily. This grace is beyond human imagination and estimation. It is an act of God’s immeasurable love and power that cannot be comprehended by human mind.
This inner wealth is beyond gold or any material wealth. It is multi-dimensional. One cannot fathom or measure the breadth, the length, the height or the depth of his grace. Such grace that drowned all human sins and filled the once sinful man with righteousness, that gave man power and unusual strength in place of weakness, acceptance in place of rejection, justification in place of condemnation, love in place of wrath, grace so amazing.
The scripture refers to it as being manifold, multi-faceted. The redeeming grace that brings salvation, the enabling grace that empowers righteousness, the quickening grace that exchanged our death with eternal life, the enriching grace that creates our wealth and removes our poverty, the delivering grace that handled our curses, and the healing grace that took our sickness and infirmities. This grace exceeds our imagination, our thoughts and our desires. It is above all we can ever imagine or ask. How could we imagine that a condemned sinner can be made a saint? the best we could ask for is life not eternal life, the best we can imagine is pardon but not justification, the best we could ask for is cleansing but not imparting righteousness, the best we could ask for is healing but not divine health. The best we could ever think of is servanthood but not sonship. God’s grace exceeds all we can ever ask or think.
PRAYER: Lord, thank you for your exceeding grace.
