…Spreading the gospel of Christ

WORD MEDITATION: 27/10/2023

Bible Reading: Jeremiah 20-22; 2 Timothy 1

“For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” – Mark 5:28

Faith is an amazing thing! Jesus said that faith the size of a mustard seed could move a mountain. This woman’s faith moved more than that. All she had was just enough to touch the “hem of the garment” sized faith, but it was more than enough. If you struggle with believing, remember that a little faith is a great start in the kingdom of God. We just have to act on it. Don’t let it sit there and dry up or fade away, but reach for just enough to deliver that desire and miracle. Begin there as little as can be and God will grow your faith as you go. “for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Matthew 17:20

Just like Peter walked on water without minding the challenges of walking on water, so the woman with the issue of blood reached out to Jesus and she was made whole. There is something powerful about people with enough faith for situations. “I would rather fail in faith than succeed in fear” – that is their motto. Just because you ran out of faith doesn’t mean that you ran out of Jesus. There is no shame in throwing out your faith in the direction of what God is doing. It took Peter just enough faith to step out of that boat, which means it took all that he had to get out of the boat. And he didn’t realize how the water was going to be raging and how the wind was going to be blowing but he used all the faith that he had and because he uses enough faith, the situation and circumstances around him did not matter, same way the woman with the issue of blood scuffled her way through the crowd to touch the hem of Jesus garment.

Faith in God on any issues of life, can deliver that awaited desires on that issue.

Prayer: Father grant me the grace to always step-out in Faith for the miraculous.
