Bible Reading: Isaiah 42:1-25
“I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images” – Isaiah 42:8 KJV
God is the Almighty One who created the heavens and the earth, their inhabitants, all of us, and all that we have. He not only created us for a purpose, He also formed us (making us fit for purpose) and gave us an identity in Himself (called by name and owns us). Isaiah 43:1.
Whatever we are, able to do and acquire is by Him and through Him. All the glory belongs to Him for who we are and what we can ever become.
Give Him glory today for all that you are and for His plans for your life. Consider that all you pray for is that His glory may be revealed in you. Praise the Lord!
Prayer: Dear Lord, reveal your glory in my life in a new way today. Amen.
