Bible Reading: Psalm 66, Revelation: 22
“And behold I come quickly: and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end, the first and the last” – Rev. 22: 12-13(KJV)
When you tell people that Christ is coming soon, they look at you as an old school. You are considered archaic and unlearned. Modern knowledge has brushed aside the coming of Christ and divert humanity attention to technology and scientific discoveries. Technology itself is being used by the forces of darkness to bombard both old and young with amorous activities such as pornography, homosexuality and lesbianism, and many other vices via the social media. I am working out my salvation with fear and trembling lest after preaching the good news of heaven I myself misses it. I ask for grace from God for zeal in my kingdom advancement endeavor. I ask for leading and direction by the Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth. I ask for me to be endued with the Spirit of love so I can serve my God acceptably with holy reverence. In all these I desire to be with my Lord and Master at his appearing. To facilitate this, I constantly examine myself to determine my spiritual state and fervency.
I have absolute trust in the promise and statement of the Almighty. The Alpha and Omega has declared that He is coming quickly; that means there is no time for frivolities and laxity. We must tighten our seat belt in preparation for the rapture. We must be at work doing his will. We must be on the go to evangelize the world and win souls to the kingdom. Remember his reward is with Him to give to every man according to his work. When the Almighty God says he is coming quickly, what must I do but to believe and work while it is day for the night comes when no man can work.
My dear reader, there is no repentance in the grave, you miss it you are damned forever. While you are alive, you have the opportunity to make the choice of going to heaven and pursue vigorously.
Prayer: Father give me the grace to run this race acceptably to the end.
