“And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.”- Luke 23:33(KJV)
All the leader and founders of the world’s religions died for themselves and did so in their sins. Their graves litter the very nations of their pilgrimage. They were mere men who have deceived a great portion of God’s people. But Jesus, our saviour and God, died for our sins and trespasses, the just one for the unjust in order to take away our sicknesses and give us health; gains instead of pains, prosperity in the place of poverty, and above all: HEAVEN IN THE PLACE OF HELL. Jesus our God and saviour was lied upon, and accused of treason, and also as one, who was running a parallel government. He was beaten and bruised for our sake. They preferred to set free a murderer and robber instead of the righteous one. Our Lord bled and died bearing all the sins of the world from the time of Adam to the end of the ages. He preferred to die rather than live. The devil meant it for evil, but little did he know that all things were working out for our good, that Christ would save the word from sin and its effects; “Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (1Cor 2:8 KJV)
God has already paid the Ultimate Price for you and me to procure the Prize of eternal redemption from all our sins, and the consequences thereof. Will you accept this offer today, by responding to the call of salvation? Jesus bled and died for our iniquities. He brought us out of a horrible pit and out of the miry clay and set us up in a large place. The choice you make today will ultimately determine where you will find yourself; heaven or hell. This is because there is no more sacrifice, and there is no other way to God except through faith in the name of Jesus. See Act 4:12.
