Bible Reading: Isaiah 45:1-25
“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else” – Isaiah 45:22 (KJV)
Vain is the help of man as it does not endure. When a man also makes a promise, there is no assurance that he will be able to fulfill it, either because he lacks capacity to deliver on the due date, he changes his mind or he is not alive to deliver. God is always there and so, so faithful. “Be ye mindful always of his covenant: the word which he commanded to a thousand generations” – 1 Chronicles 16:15.
When we stay focused on God, we won’t wait for ever. He will show up right on time. Be patient. Listen for the still, small voice.
In Him we will find everything we need. That’s why once saved, we cannot afford to turn back. There is the holding on of faith and working out of our salvation. (Philippians 2:12). The salvation package is complete — nothing is left out.
Prayer: Dear Lord I thank you for the grace and strength to wait until you bring about my change. Amen.
