Bible Reading: Exodus 25,26; Matthew 20:18-34
“And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you? They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.” – Matthew 20:32-33 (KJV).
God gave us the invitation to call on Him (Jeremiah 33:3). Calling on Him is a proof that we aknowledge Him as owner, Lord, and our master. Those who called on Him in time past, and those who still do, got and are still getting answers. This the two blind men who followed Jesus did. Their persistence in calling unto Him got His attention. But what exactly do they want?
God knows your needs, but you are to ask, seek, knock for Him to answer (Matthew 7:7). God knew Hannah needs a child, but until she asked God did not remember her. She did not just ask, but was specific in her reques. She asked for a man child and God gave her Samuel (1 Samuel 1:11,20).
The two blind men followed Jesus, and asking for mercy. But until they stated specifically their need, the Lord did not restore their sight. Follow this same principle, be specific in your request and see the Hand of God manifested in your life.
