…Spreading the gospel of Christ

WORD MEDITATION: 31/12/2023

Bible Reading: Malachi 1-4; Revelation 22.

Memory Verse: “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6 (KJV)

A woman who had an abortion when she was an unbeliever and the womb had been removed became a born again child of God and was desirous of having a baby. The woman went to her pastor who prayed for her but nothing happened. One day, the pastor called the woman and asked her for her peculiarities as all other women he prayed for had been pregnant and delivered their babies. It was at this point that the woman explained her situation to the pastor. The woman said thereafter, she noticed that the pastor was dodging her and when she realized that she took her case to God and faced him directly. And not long after, she became pregnant and later delivered twins in a London hospital! At her delivery, the doctor expressed shock that having taken thousands of delivery, he never had anyone without a womb until her case!
Scientifically, a woman cannot deliver without a womb but with God nothing is impossible. He raised the dead, made lepers whole, turned water to wine multiplied a jar of oil to become vessels of oil and He has not changed! He says in Malachi 3:6 (KJV), “For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.”

What is it that you are facing and you have lost faith because the end of the year has come, just remember that our Lord Jesus Christ has not changed. The Bible says of him in Hebrews 13:8 (KJV), “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” He is the God of all possibilities, renew your faith in His ability to do all things and petition Him on your case while ensuring that you are living a life of holiness. So you need to examine yourself if you’re living in sin, you need to repent immediately so that the inhibition can be removed! Remember Isaiah 59:1-2 (KJV) says, “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: [2] But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

Call on Jesus Christ and repent of your sins while accepting Him as your Lord and Saviour and wait on Him for His action. However you must know that He is not a rubber stamp. He will attend to you at the best time which may not coincide with your timing since your knowledge of events is limited but He knows all circumstances surrounding your case!

What is more important is actually your relationship with God because, no matter what happens on earth, you will spend eternity based on that. An intimate relationship pleasing God always will guide you to end with eternal life while on the other hand, a strained relationship with God arising from your sinful ways will lead you to eternal damnation! I pray that you will choose life and end well in Jesus name.

Prayer point:
Unchanging changer, please change me to please you in all my ways in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
