Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 1, 2, 3; 2 Corinthians 11:17-33.
“I know that whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him” – Ecclesiastes 3:14 (KJV).
The God we serve is a God of perfection, his works are excellent. The work of God does not need improvement because they are perfect even as he is perfect. God is committed to excellence, he is not a mediocre. His works cannot be improved on because he does them with a touch of excellence. This is consistent with his nature and attributes.
As Omniscient God, He knows everything and that from the beginning. He is Omnipresent so He is never absent from the scene of events; He is familiar with the point of event. As Omnipotent God, there is nothing and no one that can undo Him. All power belongs to Him. He can make something good out of any bad situation. He is in charge and will never lose control. When God created all things, he ensured that everything created were very good because he is committed to excellence. Whatever God begins, He finishes on a very good note. “Being confident of this very thing; that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ” – Philippians 1:6 (KJV). God will not just perform it but will perform it excellently because excellence is consistent with his nature.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for your excellent work in my life.
