BIBLE READING : Proverb 6; 7; 2 Corinthians 2
“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” 2 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
The life of the Christian though sometimes engrossed in trials, temptations and challenges is meant to be a life of victory and triumph. Faith in Christ always leads to victory, even in the midst of threatening challenges of life. Our victory is never optional or negotiable if we keep our faith and loyalty strong in Christ. This victory will always result in thanksgiving and praise to the one who gives us the victory in Christ.
Seeking for victory in our human strength and weapons of war is a deception because battle axe is prepared for war, but victory is of the Lord. By strength can no man prevail, so then, it is not by power or by human might by by the Spirit’s enabling. It is a vain thing to hope in kings and princes or in our skills for safety, only faith in Jesus can guarantee victory.
We are more than conquerors in Christ. The believer in Christ is not at the mercy of Satan and his cohorts, his victory is guaranteed in Christ. The call to the Christian faith is a call to dominion and victory.
Prayer : Thank you Lord for the victory we have in Christ
