“Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation”– Isaiah 12:3 (KJV)
Salvation is not just a one-time thing where God only saves us from our sin. When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we become children of God and from that point on we have God as our ‘everyday’ Saviour!
As we journey through life, we will need constant deliverance from one thing or the other! It is our testimony of victory that brings glory to God! We are in the world but we are not of this world because we have the assurance of deliverance from the things that drowns and sinks others. There are times when it looks as if we are in tight situations and we are challenged from all sides but we refuse to be afraid because we have a Saviour that always delivers us! “Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;”– 2 Corinthians 1:10 (KJV).
Salvation is a compound word which means total deliverance from sin, danger, sickness, poverty, harm, defeat! e.t.c. Many believers fail to realize that the joy they experienced at new birth is the rope that they are meant to use to constantly draw from the well of salvation that God deposited in them as stated in our opening text. At any instance of any opposition, they begin to grumble and complain like the children of Israel who rejoiced when they crossed the red sea but murmured at every challenge they faced in the wilderness!
The joy of the Lord is a supernatural force deposited in your spirit at the new birth that when activated through thanksgiving and gratitude in the midst of contrary situations and difficult circumstances, you will always see the Almightiness of God revealed and manifested in that situation. The scriptures says It is with joy (not complaining and murmuring) that you draw from the wells of salvation the resources of heaven and turn every negative situation around. Start drawing today and enjoy the unlimited joy of salvation.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the joy of salvation that you have given me in Christ Jesus.
