TOPIC: THE PARTNERSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Bible Reading: Esther 7–10; Acts 6
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” — 2 Corinthians 13:14 (KJV)
The word communion also means fellowship and partnership. Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” John 15:5 (KJV). Just as a branch depends entirely on the vine for life and fruitfulness, every believer depends on the Holy Spirit for a productive and effective Christian life. The Holy Spirit is the abiding presence of God with us, communicating the Father’s love and manifesting the works of Christ in and through our lives.
No one can successfully fulfill God’s purpose without the partnership of the Holy Spirit. This partnership is not reserved for ministers alone; it is essential for every believer regardless of vocation or calling. Whether you are a teacher, engineer, business owner, doctor, artisan, parent, or student, the Holy Spirit is your divine Helper. Moses understood this truth when he declared, “If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence” Exodus 33:15 (KJV). He knew that God’s presence was the distinguishing factor that separated Israel from every other nations.
In the same way, your partnership with the Holy Spirit is what distinguishes you and causes you to stand out. While God is always with us and will never leave nor forsake us, our lives become fruitful when we consciously involve Him in our decisions, plans, and daily activities. Without the Holy Spirit, spiritual activities become ordinary and human efforts remain limited. Therefore, cultivate fellowship with Him daily, depend on His wisdom, and allow Him to lead you in all things, for without Him we can do nothing.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the gift and fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Help me to consciously partner with Him in every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.
